Ray is an Intergalactically famous Oracle with millions of adoring fans and a flair for the dramatic. He has wanted to be Overlord ever since he arrived in this galaxy and he knows that it's now or never. He and his pet troll Chipmunk are ready.

Allow a weekend for this family-friendly space opera. I read an ARC and this voluntary review is my own opinion.
The Neon Octopus, the Queen of Snark is back! In this riveting thriller her seat as Overlord is being contested, what are they thinking? High drama, low blows and plenty of action make L.A. Johnson a masterful writer of everything neon octopus!
I really enjoyed this book immensely. It is filled with a variety of beings. It has danger, conspiracies and humor. I like the variety of character types. There are aliens, humans, invaders, reporyers, conspiracy theorists, a meglomaniacal octopus and even mobsters. The plot is complicated, but the author brings it all together. I recommend this for anyone who likes a different and humorous science fiction story.
Take an assortment of unusual beings -- my favorite was Soda, a Neon Octopus. They are rivals to fill the recently vacated position of "galaxy overlord". Petty fighting stops when invader from a different galaxy who "wants to talk" before he anhiliates their universe.

Improbable! You bet. Entertaining if you think of alpha personalities ready to out do each other in their quest to be the one in charge.

Among many odd things, you must accept the notion that advanced civilizations have televisions and smart phones -- which do not seem to evolved from technology that we are exposed to in the 21st century. Written as if it were a comic book plot for a not-yet-illustrated for Saturday morning television.

Overlord Brawl is the first book in a series. It sets the stage for the comeback of Neon Octopus reclaiming her place as the overlord of the universe, a job she loved. But there are others who want the job and will fight he for it. What they don’t realize is that the Soda, the Neon Octopus, will stop at nothing, and she means nothing, to get her job back.

Realizing she needs money since her enemies had frozen her assets, Soda has instituted a vlog offering instructions to her viewers on how to become an overlord of their own universe. As absurd as it may seem, the money starts rolling. Her plan is beginning.

Together with her comrades, she intends to reinstate herself. However, her enemies find her ship. Right in the middle of her exciting vlog militants board her ship and attempt to kill her. Her comrades become entangled in a battle to save their lives and hers, as she keeps broadcasting.

An exciting adventure is promised in this humorous tale as Soda strives to become Overlord. Prepare yourself for a cast of unforgettable, colorful characters.
