House Of Horrors edition by Carole Gill Literature Fiction eBooks
This was a great and very entertaining anthology. Carole Gill does an excellent job with each story and creature of finding just the right nerve to set the tingles all over the back of your neck. This is a horror anthology just as the cover says. If you do not like to read horror then you will not care for this book, but... if you are a horror fan then you NEED this anthology! The stories flow and the plot of each story is wonderfully written. There are so many different monsters in this book the no matter what your biggest fear is or your favorite one to read about you are gonna find it without fail.Very much enjoyed and highly recommended.

House Of Horrors edition by Carole Gill Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
House of Horrors, by Carole Gill is an author who seeks to bring back a style, similar to those of authors of the seventies. Back when movies staring Vincent Price, Christopher Lee and even as far back as Bela Lugosi! The horror is this tale was mild and implied more than described. As a matter of fact, not much was described at all!
The stories of House of Horrors fail to capture the true terror the word 'Horror' offers. In Better to Die, a grandfather and and granddaughter work a lighthouse that assists sailors and steers them to safety. Now that one- wow! AMAZING! The lure, then the surprise was perfect but it happened way too fast. The story felt rushed and that's crazy for a short story, but Zombie Winter...
Zombie Winter was a huge flop for me. The story just drops you in the middle of, not just a zombie attack, but evidently a mega Global Warming storm! Nothing set this story up and the way things happened, I laughed at the progression and almost felt let down- had it not been for the fact, the ebook was free. I didn't lose anything but time. The other stories were okay. They were easier to get through but the lack of detail in some was annoying. This author will tell an excellent story in one, then follow up with one that tosses out information instead of allowing the reader to flow through. It was off-putting...

House of Horrors
Another great horror book by British Author Carole Gill.
For crying out loud, folks, there's a difference between writing and typing. This book is the latter. Anyone can put words on a page; apparently (in these days of self publishing) nobody can actually write. Not this "author," certainly. This collection might be suitable for young, and indiscriminate, teens. For anyone else, fuggidaboudit.
Loved the snippets, and tie ins to other authors and story lines. This was a nicely fast paced book. Kudos to Carole Gill!!
I have just completed Carole's anthology of horror and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it. I grew up with horror legends such as King, Koontz, Poe, Shelley, Stoker and I added Gill to that list. If you love sparkly vampires you better look elsewhere because all you will see here is blood-thirsty demonic soul suckers. From remote lighthouses to the streets of 1800's London you will find stories about death, destruction, mayhem and misery.
Tread lightly.
I just finished House of Horrors and LOVED it. Being a horror movie fan since I was a kid, I thought all of these short stories were spooky as heck. Carole Gill knows how to weave a story and some included a bit of creepy history! I truly whined out loud in fright a couple of times!! I'm not one to go into great detail, but if you are a fan of horror, you won't want to miss this one!! High marks to Ms. Gill.
